Longing for belonging
Longing for belonging Right past the trees That surround my heart
Listening to the voices Laughing near by Ancient streams of Sorrow Pulsate in And out of my vision Of sight
And I am slowly Overtaken by the Beauty of the ease At which nature Fills every space and nook Even my broken soul
Shredding me foolishly Once more dragging My tender meat across The damp forest floor
At an ancle I can’t quite comprehend
At some point The loneliness stumbles
I cry but not For help
I scream but But not out of fear
I endure but Only out of spite
Waiting for the coming of dusk tweaks scratch my surface
reality becomes nothing More than a sound a bubble ready to pop at the slightest touch
Like my thick inked Skin covered in the Riddles I so desperately Wish someone Would want to uncover
Uproot me finally Chop me up And forcefully Carry me home
The meaning of it all Gloriously revealed
In the flames of her fire
