Remember when you Where young You shone like the sun But now the diamond In you is dimmed And dazed You dance the night away So easily let Astray Fingers crossed You’ll find yourself Somewhere safe Biting the tongue Of time Drifting from Neutral to first Gear And back Again and again Until you wonder If this is what it Feels like going mad You take a mighty Hit And hand it back Around the corner someone just Died In agonizing pain With little goosebumps Inched into their Cold dead skin You inhale into Their last exhale You drift down the Corridors of what They might have become You cuddle like Lovers outside The Keyhole of the time space Continuum The greater gods Might even be watching For all that you know You whisper As much to yourself As to the Smokey Stranger Shine on You crazy diamond
